Traffic Control Services

All of our Traffic Controllers are licensed and accredited to a minimum of level 2 with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads.

We also have Traffic Managers accredited to level 3 & 4. A number of our Controllers have also received training from Energex and have attained M31 Electrical Spotters Accreditation for works near power lines. We also have Controllers accredited with First Aid Officer Certification. All Traffic Controllers are supplied with a full complement of personal protective equipment and Hi-Viz / reflective uniforms.

Our fleet of vehicles are equipped with rotating and hazard lights with the very latest digital adjustable reversing beepers. Log books are maintained in each vehicle.

Traffic Control innovations prides itself on the stability of our workforce, where the majority of our Traffic Controllers have been employed in continuous service to our Principals for some 5 years plus.

Third Party/Public Liability is in place in the sum of $20M with Lloyds of London. Within the same Policy they also cover us for Professional Indemnity Insurance. Workcover Insurance is current for all of our Employees.

As a member of the Traffic Management Association of Queensland, we are very involved in working with the Queensland Department of Transport & Main Roads and are certified # 0218).

Traffic Control Innovations utilises and maintains an integrated management system combining both Safety and Quality management. Principles of our Quality, Environment, Health and Safety management system are listed in the integrated management system.

We also maintain a strict Environmental policy and are currently undergoing certification for the AS/NZS Environmental Protection AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004

Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices Conformance

Traffic Control Innovations will always operate in strict conformity with the requirements of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) Part 3 – 2010. It is a rapidly growing requirement of all Councils, and Police Departments. Traffic Control Plans are prepared and endorsed by no less than a Level 3 TMR approved staff member.
